Saudi Arabia Postpones Flagship FII Conference to 2027

Saudi Arabia has decided to postpone its flagship annual investment summit, the Future Investment Initiative (FII), commonly known as 'Davos in the Desert', shifting the next edition of the event to 2027.

The announcement was confirmed by the CEO of the FII Institute, coming amid rising geopolitical tensions and recent regional developments that have impacted international travel schedules and corporate logistics across the Gulf Cooperation Council.

The annual conference, typically held in Riyadh, serves as the Kingdom's premier economic showcase, attracting global business executives, sovereign wealth fund leaders, bankers, and high-profile investors from around the world to explore opportunities aligned with Vision 2030.

Organizers noted that shifting the gathering ensures optimal international engagement and participation from worldwide partners when conditions are more stable.
